吉兒的小世界

1980年代，Debbie Gibson第一張專輯Out Of The Blue，在聽到林凡最近翻唱的Foolish Beat時，記憶一層一層的翻上心頭，還是卡帶時期的1980年，17歲的Debbie出了第一張專輯，立刻在美國歌壇迅速竄紅，發行了三張白金專輯，但其實我最熟悉的是第一張，在第一張發行了好幾年後，我才買了卡帶，當時有好一陣子幾乎天天都在聽，聲音甜美嘹亮，百聽不厭，無論當時懂不懂歌詞意義，在那時，幾乎聽到前奏大概就知道是哪一首歌出來，一邊念書或看漫畫，也能隨口跟著哼上幾句。

出生紐約的Debbie是才女歌手，會製作與詞曲能力，年紀又輕，90年代欲轉型偶像歌手的形象，還曾跟Tiffany一起拍過Playboy的封面，大家聽到的這首Foolish Beat是Debbie自己做的，上網查了一下目前這位歌手的近況，才知道Debbie Gibson現在改名為Deborah Ann Gibson，仍有繼續從事音樂方面的工作。曾在不少百老匯音樂劇演出，也會參與獨立電影和電視的工作。目前她手上已有自己所寫的兩部音樂劇等待發表。

今年一月時Deborah加入了福斯電視的一部影集"Skating with Celebrities"的演出，夏天時和Jordan Knight灌錄了一張單曲"Say Goodbye"，在成人榜上拿下不錯的成績。

放上原唱作品，MV中仍見Debbie清純的模樣，不過畢竟是在80年代的人，所以別用現在的偶像標準來看，可能會有很大的落差，呵呵！
